Nah Vasty, there's loads more Cas fans in Normy than Wakey fans.

I’ve no idea what the actual split is but everyone I know from Normy are Wakey fans.

A few years back Sunderland FC were experiencing similar probs. Niall Quinn, popular ex-player heavily involved in the club's hierarchy at that time, made a point of visiting the pubs when games were showing to shame the drinkers into going. Might be a role for some of your many injured players doing similar? Better still, an enforcer from years gone by such as Lee Crooks

I AM AMAZED Joel Tomkins did not use this as his defence for pubgate in Wigan. I was trying to shame them into coming to the game. !

Now that simply isn’t true is it and you know it. I don’t know the actual split but I know of at least a dozen who have or still do post on these forums.

You definitely know Jinjer who even posts rather bravely on your own forum assuming you’re a Cas fan? I don’t think he makes a secret of his origins either.

I’ve never met a Cas fan in person from Normy but I’ve seen the odd shirt around the place so I assume they are there. Come on mate you’re better than that.

go into the Black Swan in Normy. Speak to the landlord who is a Cas sponsor. He will point you in the right direction.

I lived in Normy for 25 years and can confirm that fans of Cas and Wakey tended to be fairly evenly split.

I found when I was out drinking that you tended to get them congregating at their respective ends of the town. When all the pubs and clubs were open, you'd tend to get mainly Cas fans in the Hopetown WMC, Coronation WMC, The Village (lower end of Castleford Road), and mainly Wakey fans in The Hark to Mopsey, St John's Terrace WMC (Wakefield side of town). It was fairly evenly split in the town centre and the Comrades Club.

There were also a decent amount of Fev fans.

I don't doubt they exist so I don't really need his advice, but thanks anyway.
