Joe Keyes - Comeback? : Wed Jun 12, 2019 7:50 pm
He is having a blinder in this reserve match. His tactical kicking is sublime, and he looks fit and eager too.

It will be a whole other dimension to our first teams stuttering attack.

Having said that (and no offence intended to K-Towns reserve team) there isn't much opposition in this game.

Good to hear.

Hope his injury problems are behind him. Will be good to have a reliable goal kicker in the side.

Well I hope he’s over his issues, he could be a big influence on our side in the 2nd half of the season.

I’m sure he’ll be in the 19 for Sunday. Can we start him? Instead of the Wildie/Lilley pairing? Depends how he feels tomorrow.

Apparently not.

To be in for a shout for Sunday, he could only play 40 mins. Would have been a bit undercooked then. Oh well. Wildie it is

Saw that, but still wouldn’t rule him out. I’m sure Leigh’s preparation would be rather different for Keyes rather than Wildie in the halves. So why rule him out so soon, rather than keep them guessing...

Sounds like Pickersgill had a very good game as well - surely he's worth another shot in the first team?

Keyes looked very good last night, there were some super kicks and he really straightened up the attack. I don't think he'll play on Sunday but he will be back for the Fax match all being well.

Two great long range kick return tries last night from young Murphy Smith and Daniel McGrath.
