I’d take 10th yea, no problem admitting that. Just wanna know where you think you’d be with an organising hb.

I'd expect us to be around mid table.

TBF their is too much of throw it him as soon as possible and hope for the best. As damaging as Hurrell could be you still have to attract inside defenders otherwise you get what you see so often with 3/4 defenders on him.

I know mate, I’m just having the craic. Look through my posts over the season and I’ve always stated Leeds game plan revolves around throwing it to him. The first game at home we struggled but this game we have learned and because we are so fit we can afford to throw 2 and 3 players at him because we are confident they can get back in the line after the tackle

Yeah fair play, it’s frustrating to watch him ‘used’ because he really could destroy teams if used properly. If he was playing for Saints even though you don’t really need a centre then his tries scored and try assists numbers would be massive. At Leeds he’s attacking outside Brett Ferres who doesn’t give a damn because he knows he’s going at the end of the year, yet still bizarrely gets the full 80 when he’s fit....Donaldson got a sin bin and won’t offer anything special but the difference in effort put in is vast.

Dude. I would swap him for Naiqama in a heart beat and if he was in our team I think he would have an absolute field day.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I think Leeds knew they were not going to win this game after the first quarter and had a dig at a spoiling game thought Thaler joined the spoiling party as well. Saints had to adjust to the loss of the injured Percival, Tai and Smith but managed to get on the bike in the last 10 mins. Must admit Leeds put up some heroic defence at times otherwise Saints would have progressed to the 50 pt mark.

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

A bang average NRL player......we loved him at the Warriors but he was as much a liability as he was popular. Saints seem to have a pretty good balance on both flanks this year, Hurrel would be an unwarranted addition IMHO.

Largely agree. I thought the early lead actually did Saints few favours as they went expansive on a night where their execution wasn't great and while Leeds still had plenty of defensive juice left in the tank. I felt they'd have won more easily had they played with better control. Matters little as they were comfortably the better side either way.
