If this was the case then I agree that it is very harsh on KR, however, as long as the parent club acts within the terms of the agreement then they need to do what's right for them.

I have no inside information but, based on the short notice recall, I'm guessing that Cooper and / or Murdoch-Mailais looking unlikely for Sunday. With Akauola suspended both Johnson and Livett are likely to be in the 19 if not the 17.

I agree. It looks as though we are struggling which is not good especially with Semi-Final looming. You wouldn't normally bring these players back so quickly. Bit of a crisis methinks.

Yes. All set to play..up until an hour or two ago. Its farcical ! (Rfl needs to clarify what exactly week to week is. Surely in a top level competition you shouldn't be able to recall a player who's been named in the squad on the day)
Why wasn't this sorted immediately after our Leeds game last Friday or at the latest Monday/Tuesday.

It doesnt say a lot for the players in question either, its harsh on them, they dont know whether they're coming or going day to day it seems!!

Totally agree, shocking that they have been training all week and done team run and then get a recall... there should be a rule on when a cut off time is acceptable. To bring them back for one game, then for them to sit on the bench or not even be in the squad next week because no doubt SP will have his regulars back for the Semi Final, and the youngsters will be back to square one. This shouldn't be allowed

It's that ridiculous that in a way it messes Wire a little bit.
On your point of view why has Price left it so late? It doesnt help with your game prep either drafting in 2 so late, Has he been giving a couple of your players up until the last second to prove fitness and they've failed or has his been in the offing all week and Price and Smith have secretly prepared but wanted to throw Cas and Hudds off (I very much doubt this however!)

well I know the players had all been given time off after the game Friday and wasn't back in training till yesterday, so some might be 'jet lagged'

what I do know is they only received the call at the very last minute last night, so this wasn't secretly prepared by no means. Such a shame for the youngsters as they seem to be thriving under Tony Smith and looking as though they are enjoying there rugby again which a great coach.

Week by week loan? Might aswell be hour by hour !
amazing. Wire have likely just earn KR a place in 2020 SL and that's the thanks you get. Who else loaned you 2 SL players for a month?...as far as I know you must loan out for a month minimum??
We don't expect thanks for saving you from relegation but don't expect us to guarantee you a top 5 spot as well!.... slice of KR cake anyone?

Have you even looked at the table? How are we saved from relegation in the present situation? A defeat tonight, regardless of how London do on Sunday (they could and should beat that Saints team) puts us right in the thick of it once more.
Besides, Livett and Johnson have gone well, Johnson has been solid whilst Livett has provided the 'know how' if you like but if you're implying these 2 are the sole reason why weve picked up, that is crass. Parcell is the one and hes gone for at least a month too.
Rooks and Harrison the two academy lads coming in for Johnson and Livett arent gonna make us all of a sudden crumble but the issue at hand here is the timing. A recall by yourselves either very late Thursday or Friday morn is poor form. Its sport, these lads arent robotic. Its tough for Luis and Livett to slot in Sunday too.
But yeah, cheers for the loan, we should be grateful Price wasnt on the phone as they were both walking out the tunnel.

Presumably the loan agreement allows for late recalls and Hull KR agreed to the terms at the time of taking out the loan.

You would think so, still baffling timing for all parties, hope this doesn't ruin our great relationship with the Warrington club.
