Why bust our backsides when we couldn’t beat them at (almost) full strength, and could well have to play them at least twice again anyway? I still think half the reason for this current slump is we’ve been emotionally and physically shattered after that last Saints game.

Yes, I got grief for not saying we should play for the precious two points and second place, but win our other games and we should be OK. Sky just want to show them picking up the LLS, so play kids, take the sting out of the fixture and stick two fingers to Saints and Sky and don’t give them the satisfaction of another humiliation.

Hull are 2pts behind us. every game now is a must win to secure 2nd sport and a generate momentum going into the play offs.

So you want knackered players playing give em a rest .freshen up players that need a week off..won't beat saints with a full strength team as 2 games have proven already...save em for when the season starts properly...

Whats the point in resting players, throwing 2 points and allowing hull to sit joint 2nd and making every game then must win until 2nd is secured?

Every game now is must win t keep 2 points between us and 3rd at least. The reward that comes from 2nd place can not be under estimated.

Hill has just had 2 weeks off, Cooper has been rested, BMM has been out for two months, Ratch the same. The only player in need of a real rest is Clark. Fielding a weakend team is not an option untill we are guaranteed 2nd.

With this lot playing as they as they are Wigan could catch us up..rest em..bring em back fresh for end of season comp..I do see your point tho...remember it knackered saints last season by not rotating his players
