Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

Avignon for Championship in 2021, Super League in 2022!

Championship results : Sat Aug 10, 2019 3:54 pm
Toulouse Olympique thrashed Widnes 28-12 at Widnes today. The French team scored five tries to two. This comfortable win was despite the fact that Widnes fielded a number of former Super League players, including Anthony Gelling, Harrison Hansen, McGraff Leuluai, and Thomas Gilmore.

The exciting French team cruised to a win, and now sit in second place in the Championship, behind the Toronto Wolfpack.

Toronto Wolfpack are thrashing York 32-0 at half times.

I wonder if it was the airline food that has got to York players?

Meanwhile Toulouse's 2nd place in the Championship table is conformed.

Toronto has absolutely thrashed the York City Knights 56-6. Toronto are now even further ahead on the ladder.

This result must be a huge setback for York's Super League aspirations.

Meanwhile Toulouse is sitting in a clear second. Let's face it: the Toulouse Olympique club is something really special. What an adornment it would be for Super League!

Why? It is now Toulouse in second place. Featherstone won't catch up with Toulouse. Surely it is more likely to to be Toronto vs Toulouse in the final.

I doubt that York have any SL ambition at the present time....

I do. And I know that Toulouse will finish second and have home ground advantage against all clubs other than Toronto.

With home ground advantage Toulouse should beat any of the other Championship clubs who aspire to challenge Toronto.
