A win today for Salford will move them back up into the top 5 and with games against Hull (next week) and a under performing Wires team and then leeds salford have a great chance to cement there place in the top 5, And next week game at hull should be a cracker too.

On form and on paper we should win this one comfortably. However, that should have happened last time we played Hudds. Bit of a bogey team for us at the moment, and the weather may stifle the way we like to play. Think this will be close. If pushed on a result I'd say Hudds may just pip it.

What an achievement if Salford did make top 5. A side that generally entertains above its weight even when not necessarily playing above it, though this season they've done both from what I've seen.
28-8 win for me.

Very much a stop start game ref not helping with the slow mo PTB's. Giants going down like a pack of cards whenever they get the opportunity to slow it down further. Salford not helping themselves composure wise.

Played poor but won by 20.

I'm hoping that's a sign that we're going in the right direction as a team.

Not sure what was more embarassing today, the refereeing or some of the playacting from the Hudds players. In fact I'm putting it out there as downright cheating. They took every opportunity to feign injury to waste time (a tactic they also employed last year at the AJ Bell) and got their just desserts in the end.

The Oliver Wilson incident was a disgrace. Went down for 2/3 minutes on the Hudds line with a head injury, was assessed and then allowed to carry on. He then went down innocuously on the next tackle and looked seriously injured, was literally carried off the pitch by 2 medical staff (his legs had completely gone and he couldn't stand let alone walk) yet reappeared within 5 minutes and played the remainder of the game. I hope to god someone has some footage of the incident as either the Hudds medical staff need hauling over the coals for allowing a dangerously unstable player to continue or the Hudds management need to explain themselves to the RFL for some Oscar worthy acting. Complete shambles.

And God forbid any team that gets Marcus Griffith's. If he's James Child's replacement in SL then we've got some serious issues with our referees set up.

Never understood the attendance nazis.

I'd hazard a guess it was pretty low, seeing as Hudds only brought a handful. A poorly supported side playing poorly. Along with a poorly supported home side playing decently.

The attendance figure makes no difference to results. But it's not about that is it? It's just an excuse to bring out the stick and beat us for no particular reason. Beat away. You can beat until you're exhausted as it wont knock us out of fifth.
