Charity Shirt : Tue Aug 13, 2019 6:36 pm
Blast from the past!

I had that shirt with Lester 6 on it, not a great time for the club but Preckie was the shining light and a great cause

How come they don't want to tell us how much from each shirt is going to charity?

Not many great memories attached to that shirt!
Prekkie definitely one of them though. Do actually like this version.
I remember buying the original. Never had a more uncomfortable item of clothing. The polyester was that tough it was indestructible!

oh i don't know. i thought we did ok that season, our first in superleague. memorable opening win at sheffield, beat leeds at home and pushed bradford all the way. think we finished 8th. it was the season after when it all went t*ts up

never really liked that jersey though

I don't think anyone liked that jersey at the time! Complaints oh "it's not black and white" and "they're not hoops" were combined into one big super complaint!

Suddenly, it looks stylish and retro and everyone wants one! :D

Wasn’t the original shirt the one where David Lloyd gave the shirt sponsorship away to one of his mates for free? In lieu of other services.

Nobody liked that shirt at the time.

...yet I've still got two of them in the cupboard. They were indestructible!!!
