I wouldn't say so as the first team squad would be tiny and we wouldn't be able to afford anyone. I'm not even sure they have a salary cap themselves? Really good question though and one i'll be looking in too
Reason I ask is 1st team players returning from injury would most likely play in reserves and same again if someone from reserves gets called into the 1st team, I’m just wondering how it all works.
Could we sign that 19 year old prop at Brisbane Payne Haas to play in reserve grade next year, off salary cap and then call him up in case of injuries/loss of form to our first teamers...
The salary cap applies to the highest 25 paid players at the club whether they are playing first team or reserves.
Well i didn't know that, i suppose that makes sense was that how it always was when we had reserves before. I'm so glad the reserves are back and thought it must have looked really unprofessional to other sports. Such an Absolutely bizzarre decision to scap it in the first place.

What's wrong with A Team, where you could bring in players from big families. I lost count one week how many A.N.Others were playing ,not to mention S.O.Else.
