HANDS UP THEN : Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:25 am
Who's glad to see the back of this season ?

I walked home last night with a slight sense of relief I didn't have to go and watch any more frustratingly negative games .

Sorry if this offends.

Nothing offensive it’s how a lot of people feel.

+1. I said in the second half that it was like watching a much loved pet slowly dying.

Yes, glad to see the back of it which given it's only a month since we beat the odds to win the CC tells you everything you need to know.

Monotonous dreary "rugby" that failed to pummel the opposition but which certainly knocked my love, passion and interest in the game and team sideways.

I feel the most sorry for Charnley and Lineham who are just used as glorified props.

It is certainly the dullest style of rugby and attack I've seen in 40 years of watching and that includes when we've been REALLY poor - even in our darkest times we've been more pleasurable and with more clue in attack than this season. For that alone Price can go. Tired he says??? Well rotate your squad properly and don't ship decent players out on loan or out for good??!!

The way we play is the main reason there was a crowd last night that we'd have gotten for a pre-season friendly earlier this decade.

Re: HANDS UP THEN : Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:54 am
The team under smith could be forgiven for making lots of errors as we were a coached to play expansive rugby, under price it’s mind numbing 5 drives and a kick to king and when that doesn’t work we’re stuffed and the team are still making shed loads of errors it’s horrible to watch and if we’re not careful next year we could be left behind and not be involved in the play offs at all.

Plus me as well. Excluding the CC it has been a woeful turgid affair

In the style of the Dave Clark 5 here's mine

I'm feelin' glad its over
Yes I'm-a glad its over
Baby I'm glad its over
So glad we're out

I couldn't have taken another beating by Salford if we had sneaked through, we were finished as a team and as a set of supporters IMO

Sums my drive home to a tee. Bang on. Its depressing how the season has ended. No idea at all, no attack, no idea, no fluency, completely disjointed. The cup win has papered over cracks and kept Price in the job, so unfortunately, itl be same again next year im afraid.
