Warrington didn’t make it at all in 2011

Saints finished top and didn't make the final at all, I think it was 2005

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Since 1998 when the playoffs started has any team that finished top not made the final at 1st attempt?

On the flip side, wasnt there one season where Bradford languished around 10th/11th all season then found a bit of form and scraped 5th on the last day and went on to win the Grand Final?

Under the current format, the only team finishing 1st not to make it at the first attempt was Wigan in 2000. They then got to the Grand FInal on their second chance but lost to St Helens.

Salford will get hammered twice IMO. Play offs are a different beast to regular season games. Wigan to win a tight one at Saints. Saints to empty the tank beating Warrington and have nothing left for the final.

Don't get over cocky yet. You could still lose twice in the play offs!!

However I do hope you go one better than us in 2017 and go on to win it all for the underdogs.
