People will say Saints have got their way but it’s probably good for us that Hicks isn’t in charge. When a team has kicked up the sort of fuss Saints did via their crying after the cup final, he would be under an immense amount of pressure and scrutiny. I don’t see how he could ref another one of their games this season given how high pressure they are.

Just imagine the uproar if Hicks refereed the GF and Wigan won v Saints. It’d be bloody magical

I can see it now last minute try under the sticks,i don't care who it is but they don't quite maintain possession but Robert Hicks gives it anyway no video referee :lol: :BOW:
