Stadium development suggestion. : Tue Oct 08, 2019 8:19 am
Found this on the Maidstone United site.

I've taken the liberty to check out the current cost and on a flat site (south stand) the current cost of this stand is 950k approx. A seated version costs roughly the same.

This is the kind of money that over time a supporters organisation could raise especially with the help of a major sponsor/benefactor.

I'm sure that with a firm target and some dedicated people on board and with the clubs support this could be done. Be nice to be involved in something positive for a change for most pro-active fans.

Anyway, this is it....

If it's what the club wants I'm up for it.

Seriously!!! It holds 2,400, just count the number of terraces (it's 16 deep if that helps) that's not much smaller than the North terrace, not sure what you're looking at.

I count 11/12 rows tbh mate. It looks pretty decent though, maybe it would look even better if it went touchline to touchline.

Course it's big enough. At 2400 it holds half our average behind the goal. Would be ideal along the western terrace.

Like the steep angel too, should give a great view.

It's ok but doesn't exactly inspire the mind and say I can see me in that on a Sunday afternoon - it looks more National League Football- a souless shed. I do hope those designing a Belle Vue fit for Superleague have had a tour of all the other grounds and take the best and create soemthing thats more than functional.

I am aware finance is a big issue but Belle Vue needs to compete with the best for a long term future

It looks ok touchline to touchline i would have and more importantly i would have it with seats for the away fans on the south stand, The need to look at grounds all around the country is not needed we just need to combine in our own view grounds like Leigh's/Salford/Doncaster and that would be sufficient for us.

I have been going on about us having some kind of trust fund for a while now for the Fans/Business and whoever to contribute to help pay towards whatever is needed, Can't remember who it was who founded a fans trust to help pay for things for their not so rich club.
