Now that SL has almost finished it's almost time to look forward to the internationals. I dont think GB/England have ever had a better chance of winning something with the players we have avaiable especially with Austin, Hastings and Coote available for selection. What would your squad be? I think we have some great forwards but Hill would miss out for me.

Sam Burgess is out of the GB Squad as is Ratchford. Hardaker at the back, Lomax at 6, Swap Charnley for jermaine mcgilvrey, Jake Connor in for percival and put Morgan Knowles at 13.

How many of those players would realistically get in the Kangaroos squad?
Coote, Austin and Hastings would not be anywhere near the Aussies team.

I think every time we build up to a series, we hear how this is GB's best ever chance, never had a squad as good as this, invariably we lose and say its because of whoever the coach was, not picking X player instead of Y player.

They have already picked the squad haven't they and a few of those names have been told to book holidays instead, including Hardaker and Charnley.

Real shame for Charnley. Every inch a GB player but a victim of the way the club has fared.

That’s five of our main men in there, Hope injuries and fatigue don’t put paid to next season before it starts .

Also hope we don’t get sucked into any more meaningless WCC Challenge matches, on the back of our magnificent Challenge Cup victory against our bitter and twisted local Merseyside rivals
