He's a fantastic player, should definitely be in the GB side as a starting winger. For me one of the most underrated players in superleague, people rate him just not highly enough IMO.

Such a shame for Tom Johnstone, he was clearly Makinsons understudy and started the season on fire!

I think that Makinson is first choice without question but Johnstone is virtually his clone, just bad luck for both of them I suppose.

Which NRL club has approached Thomas Johnstone? None that I know of. By contrast Ryan Hall plays for the top team in the NRL, which is a star studded outfit.
