What ever is right or wrong, New RFL ruling, if you go over salary cap ( unknown but decorated later ) nudge, nudge, wink, wink, by 55k, but are prepared to pay 65k, then it doesn't matter, as a club just be satisfied what 65k buys you & escape a problem of your set playing staff !!!!!!! ? Nah- the precedent of getting away without a points ban after breaching the salary cap was set by......... your own Wakefield TRINITY. Who escaped relegation as a result....

IIRC, we did get a points deduction, reduced from 6 to 2? Besides, I think we went over the percentage of clubs income rather than the ceiling figure.
