I am mates with some of her family and they are all distraught. I knew her a little bit, really nice girl, great player too. Thoughts with her family and young daughter x

This is really a tragic event. What did she die from? It doesn't make sense for a woman, and especially an outstanding sports woman, to die so young.

Sport is no protection from death. I have no idea what caused her death but people die all the time including the young and active. Life is cruel and always will be, but at least it’s not as cruel as it used to be. This poor lass was very unlucky I’m afraid.

It turns out that Natalie Harrowell was admitted to hospital with a virus, but it killed her. Terrible bad luck.
