Thanks ChinaBull. I kept tabs on the game via this thread!
Let's be honest, it was our Reserve team against their first team - in that regard, this is a very creditable result. I expected a hefty defeat! So, all credit to the lads for giving it a good go.
That's a very encouraging result. I know it's only a friendly but a fully grown, experienced prop running full pelt is still difficult to handle when your a side full of U19s. Very encouraging.
I knows it been tough off-season but one positive is we've managed to keep hold of the majority of our young players. Race & Shackleton look like two who could begin to burst onto the scene.

hi paul ... wasnt easy keeping tuned in from where i am and i think my user name gives it away but you are right. Mick before the game mentioned that the mood around hunslet after our team sheet was released was it was going to be a big win for the home team. The kids really did man up and justifiably did the rab colours proud. i lost commentry in the second half and regained connection just after we scored 2 quick fire tries to bring it to 20-18 and were still pressing. yes men against boys does ring true but according to hunslet it was going to be a massacre ... the young guns had other ideas
That was another encouraging mature and resilient pre-season performance from the young players and epitomises what John Kear, Leigh Beattie and Mark Dunning are trying to build at the club. Those young players didn't take a backwards step and just wouldn't go away from Hunslet.
When you think that the average age of the side playing today was just 19. Unbelievable.
Hi China Bull, it’s disabled for everyone at the moment. I’ll try and get it turned on for the Leeds game.
Thank you for listening to the coverage. I’m not sure who the other 2593 were but thanks.
should have been there for the cas game but assumed a 3.30 ko but hey ho .... just want to ask, any chance of mixlr being used at the same time as the pulse games once the season is underway? it seems mixlr here is relatively unaffected by the chinese firewall but pulse (as with other streaming platforms) is blocked
