World Cup draw, today, and the "biggest current story in the world" is hosting it.

I sincerely hope to God, that the RFL have been all over the opportunity to promote our game, today.

I bet KK volunteered Wolfie to be dressed as James Hewitt

Draw went very well, very professional.

The story is currently Number 1 on every news outlet in the UK, from the 'MailOnline' (which is the most visited English-language newspaper website in the world; with 61.6 million unique desktop computer visitor per month), to The Sun and the BBC.

Job done.

well done RFL. For once they have organized something in advance, planned it and carried it through with nothing going wrong.

Job well done. The draw has taken place well in excess of a year before the event is due to start. Now is the time to start promoting it and hammering it down the nations throat.

I just think its a real shame that the end of the event was ruined my journalists.

Rather than asking him questions about the event or the WC they instead ask about the whole stepping back as a royal thing.

I get that it's a massive story but do they actually think he'd discuss that at a sports event? Unbelievable.

its not really hit lucky... its not going to gain any fans or money from it.... We're just so desperate for RL to be a success that we blow things up... that are actually absolutely nothing.

No such thing as bad publicity, deckchair.
The sport got mentioned a few times (not in a bad light, either). Whenever our sport makes Sports Headlines (let alone, actual NEWS headlines), it's always in a derogatory story.

It maybe only a couple of mentions, but exposure nonetheless, and with the new season only a fortnight away....winner, winner, chicken dinner
