Jarred Sammut : Mon Feb 17, 2020 11:30 am
What is happening with the guy, rumours on the terraces say he is not getting on with the coaches, if he doesn't figure in the 17 this week despite being fit there must be some truth in the rumour.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

Re: Jarred Sammut : Mon Feb 17, 2020 2:04 pm
Reynolds and Woods can`t be dropped on the last two home games that I`ve seen.

Our main goal ultimately is promotion. If Duffy used all the fringe players on Friday, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

When Paul Rowley was coach he played the best possible team he could select every week and ultimately that backfired, as it happens the victim of that circumstance was Ben Reynolds who having barely figured in the team was expected to perform when Riddy or was it Brierley who was injured come the play-offs, that cannot be allowed to happen this season we have a squad of 28 now it should be rotated as often as possible, obviously select the best avaiable for those games that are going to be 'tests' but there are going to be lots of opportunities to play the other guy's.

FWIW, I wouldn't have played Sammut v York, but there should be a place for him this Friday, if not I would definatley say something is amiss in the back-room.

Playing Friday I believe.

Riddy may also be in contention.

They are 3 games in to a season Harry..3 from 3, No need for rotation at present unless forced.

Samut sick for the first game, and recovering from being sick the second after a shortened training week. Fit to play if n ended but better rested to fully recover. This week I discussed about possible rotation but it was supposedly a “test” to use Harry’s terminology, so no issue not rotating for me, as Woods and Reynolds have played great in the first couple of game. The choice to stick with them by JD is now shown to be the correct one.
So far I don’t see how Samut could complain or why JD should be questioned. He has talked about rotation being important several times in interviews so I trust he has it in mind.
3 games in, three wins using the same high performing halfbacks. No conspiracy theory there for me there.

LCTV said he had a late slight injury so wasn’t risked.
