Ryan Shaw : Sun Feb 16, 2020 7:57 pm
Interesting signing, this one.

I wonder who he will replace? A good player who seemed to perform well in SL at Hull KR. maybe he'll get a chance at full back on Friday, following Gregg's injury?

Gregg was top drawer in defence and under the high ball today and we still look forward to seeing his undoubted prowess in attack this season. I very much hope he quickly recovers from what appeared to be a nasty knock today.
How about Craig Mullen getting his chance at full back and Ryan Shaw on the wing (or centre) on Friday.
Shaw must come into contention quickly - he is a natural athlete (6' and 14st 9lb) and his track record of more than a try every other game with the added bonus that he is a 90% plus goal kicker means he is of the quality that makes him a natural first choice player.

Mullen was pencilled in as our starting FB but Gregg forced his way in and has been superb imo Friday I would expect Mullen at FB, Forsythe at centre and Shaw to see how he goes in training fitness wise with Ince and Holroyd on the wings. Brooke’s Spencer and Field to play

Loads of changes on Friday.

I really hope it doesn't backfire.

I get what you are saying Snowy but some good players coming in, who all have a point to prove and places to stake a claim to.

Thornley McNally and mason picked up knocks, I would imagine the Hull lads and woods would be kept CC free just in case at this stage

I thought Bienek, Scott and Woods were all 'season long loans' - if so, am I right in thinking they can't be recalled by their parent clubs for CCup or SL back up ?
