The Fugitive : Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:08 pm
Am I a daft old sod (a rhetorical question), am I dreaming,or am I correct in thinking that some years ago there was a one-armed player in Super League? I believe he played in the second row and was a Sheffield Eagles player. If I am remembering correctly can anyone recall his name?

A genuine query - Honest!

I believe his arm was deformed at birth but we certainly had trouble tackling him.

There was ! Now i think he was a winger from australia who went on to play for Trafford Borough, the name Brennan rings a bell but could be wrong.

Goes to show, there's nothing stopping you do what you love if you believe. It's also fantastic the emergence of PDRL & LDRL.

Very true Mick. Also didn't a famous referee from our area only have one kidney?

Yes. He wore a colostomy while still reffing.
One tough guy doing that.
