I have noticed a large number of Rugby League players have made the same post on social media. "United we stand to work together for a greater game @gmbunion #onevoice" with a sky blue image. Whilst scanning through, I've seen Gale, Donaldson, Ward, Dwyer, Cameron Smith, Tom Briscoe and Oledski all have.

Rugby League needs to drag itself out of the Yorkshire v Lancashire crap that had gone on since day one and get with the times. Far too parochial and for too long the good of the game has been held back to keep the little clubs happy. Those that don't invest in local marketing or local players and pick up the scraps from the bigger clubs academies and overseas signings but still want the same share of the pie. Cesspit stadiums that would be lucky to host 4th tier football.

The PL breakaway from the FA was the worst thing to happen to football, but SL breaking from the RFL could be the best thing to happen to the sport
