Reece Lynn : Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:59 pm
Nice little bit on BBC Look North yesterday featuring Reece. They have been raising funds in Hull for a very promising young gymnast (Max Clark) who was mown down in a Hull park by an illegal motor cyclist and had to have a leg amputated. Reece did a piece to camera saying "thats the area I grew up in"
He's donated some of his old playing shirts to be auctioned for the fund.

Great gesture from a cracking lad   hope the youngster recovers well.

Sorry, I missed that bit off about what a great gesture it was. It showed some footage of Max and he looked incredible for his age. Tough kid though and he's looking forward to getting his new "robot leg" and getting back on the trampoline. Think its the first time i've seen Reece give an interview and he came over as a really nice kid.

I think I've seen that he has done a lot of charity work in that area. Clearly remembers his roots and uses his position in life (that he worked hard for) to good use in the community.
I like him a lot as a player but it seems he's even better as a human being.

True words Pop, one piece of advice that I was given at an early age and will always remember and passed on to Jordan, wether he took it on board I’ll have to wait and see, is “never forget where you came from “

100% agree
Doesn't make loads of noise about it but, a cracking lad and a decent centre too
