I would imagine he's a bit miffed because they have asked him to take a pay cut, maybe you might like to explain to the faithful on here what your insight into the situation is.

If BJB can't yet play then my wingers would be Johnstone and Kay.

I'm sure MC said on the Q and A that BJB just needed signing off by the consultant, which apparently was supposed to happen just as lock-down started and that he is now good to go ??

If not, then I'm with you 1315 and would go with Johnstone and Kay.

Not sure he saw the consultant because of the covid issues i.e. lockdown etc. I am sure we will find out soon enough when we see who is back in training

We have TJ who is coming back from long term serious injury
BJB has played at all since his illness so unknown fitness levels
Kershaw wants to leave

Centres Tupou and Lyne are fit but their only cover is Croft now that Arundal is injured.

So Kay is probably quite needed in that list.

I have no more or no less insight than any casual observer.

As an alleged casual observer and I use that term loosely in your case, what do you base your comment on that he's miffed and might want to move on, you maybe right in which case maybe you know something others on here don't, casual observer or not.

You’re reading way too much in to my comment mate.
I haven’t been on the forums since the start of lockdown & had no idea anyone was unhappy at wakey until I read so on this board. I don’t claim to know anything, but commented that if wakey were to sign someone, whilst asking existing players to take a wage reduction then that might be a reason they were miffed.
It’s a purely hypothetical situation, hence my blase comment - it genuinely wasn’t intended to irk you or anyone else.

Wasn't B&B's problem an illness affecting his lungs? If so, it may be that he's advised not to play, even if fully fit, as he could still be more vulnerable to the effects of Covid-19.

On Kay, he's on loan this year and replacing a player next year,so I don't see an issue as regards extra wages versus those taking pay cuts.
