It may surprise you to know that quite a lot of people don't buy on line.

I totally get that not everyone shops on line

I just don’t get why you wouldn’t start up a PayPal account if you wanted to sponsor a player
Takes 5 mins to set up

Worth noting, I’ve being using my account now for 20 years with no issue as well (touches wood)

I use Google pay and Samsung Pass to keep my card details safe and pay quickly. Not used PayPal for ages, i often wonder why I still have it on my devices lol

I make a lot of purchases online and did before Covid. I've never used Paypal. Not using Paypal has never stopped me purchasing anything online.
