Grix interview now up on FB and he sounds defeated and says we are way off the standards that we tried to set at the beginning of the season. Next step after this is usually going off on the players in an interview.

Didn't realise Pickersgill didn't even get on. Questions need to be asked about that signing as well.

He sounds thoroughly p****d off - not sure what tone people want him to take - he's often criticised on here for sounding as though he doesn't care - but then gets criticised when he obviously does. Grix very rarely blames individuals for losses, but he's understandably getting frustrated at individual errors. I accept that Pickersgill situation is strange - only real reason for having him on the bench would have been to allow JWH to move into the halves if things weren't working - he does say he wasn't happy with the halves - so to not use him is confusing to say the least.

I was gonna write a big speech but tbh I’ve come to the conclusion’ you can’t educate pork ‘ nothing wrong with Grixs coaching just need a few intelligent leaders on the pitch to keep us composed and cut out the errors , hence the signing of Adam obrien.

Just listened to the Grix interview who has highlighted the problem, unfortunately too many fans with the equivalent iq of sloth from the goonies can’t relate and listening to an educated reasonable overview of what’s going on merely flies over there head quicker the synapses in their brain can say ‘ where’s my next pint of tetleys ‘ and ooh er Grix out .

What a pr!ck you are..I joined to hear differing views of the going’s on rather than some clown telling everyone they’re thick as pig poop cause they don’t share your largely misguided views.

Here we go with the usual keyboard warrior bullshit , half o f it’s tongue in cheek , because I’m sick to death of people crying because we’ve lost a couple of games and our season is over , bloody pathetic, you wanna go down the route of calling people pricks that’s fine but expect a slap in the face when i see you .

I'm going to mark you down as undecided over the Grix situation then.

I can see a scenario where Grix leaves to perhaps be an assistant coach for maybe tony smith at hull , did hear another horrible rumour that woodburn hall is going to cas with the possibility of widdop coming the other way as player coach. Hope it’s not true tbh .

To me that's quite an appealing scenario.Wouldn't want Woody to go,but probably at stage where it's now or never for a deserved s/l shot.Widdop could be the Murrell we've struggled
to recreate and Smith's a long standing fan of Grix.

I’d like the idea of widdop come my here but only as an assistant coach. I think a person being a play and the head coach never really works. It’s too much for a player, who is on the pitch, to think about everything going on. JWH is a great player at this level I would have reservations if he was able to perform week after week at SL.

Grix says we need intelligent leaders. Widdop fits that bill.
