This was a report in September. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes. However I would fancy another trip to Toulouse next year.

London have confirmed they will stay part time in SL next season which has lead to a bit of a meltdown from some fans but with next season been a one time only thing for them it would be madness for them to go full time only to have to go back part time in the championship in 2025.

This is completely insane! Surely even the clowns "in charge" of RL must realise how stupid this looks. All very frustrating as all we can do is helplessly stand back whilst a bunch of idiots make a mockery of the sport.

London staying part time is as a result of IMG confirming this week that regardless of where you finish in the league if you aren't among the top12 graded clubs you will be relegated, London know they won't be in that group.

I think it’s a sensible move by London. Why chuck money at something that isn’t going to improved their overall standing in 13 months time. If they do it right they could come out it with some money saved To spend on the 2026 championship season.

I'm not criticising London for "having" to become part time, but the reason why they've got to do it .... ie the IMG system. The whole way it works is so stupid it beggars belief. The lunatics really have taken over the asylum!

What an absolute shambles, and to think our club voted in favour of it!

Rightly or wrongly all the clubs voted on the principals that were set out in provisional draft of proposals some time ago.
Since then there's been a fair amount of decisions made that weren't voted on, for example the one on league position having no bearing if your outside the 12 and the London conundrum.

I dare say if the vote was to be taken again it might be different but each club would put personal interest first.
