Lolohea : Fri Mar 08, 2024 10:20 pm
Can we please keep him at acting half? We actually started to look dangerous from quick rucks with him there. Get Milner out to the championship where he now belongs and spell Lolohea with Golding (although Golding's distribution leaves a lot to be desired) and we actually have some threat in the middle.

Not sure tonights win tells us anything, we were literally allowed to run training ground moves against Cas in the first half as they allowed us to run at them and play in dinner jackets. The only part of the game where they applied some line speed in defence (first 20 of 2nd half) we struggled to get out of our half. Nonethless we showed clinical finishing, but that Cas side were championship standard at best.

Let's see how we go on against Hull KR, who aren't in the best form but are a mid table SL side to gauge progress. Good confidence booster tonight though.

You are obviously mistaking me for someone who thought we would win today. Look at my other posts and you will see that i most certainly was not. My confidence in the team Watson has built is zero, we are good only for beating sides who are championship standard which Castleford with their terrible injury problems currently are. You are however a mid table side, your back line is awesome and halves are great, but your forwards are not good enough to challenge the big boys this year.
