Club sponsors. : Sun May 26, 2024 10:20 pm
As a club in my opinion the Broncos do not treat their sponsors with any sort of respect.
Today we had some thing on the pitch at half time. I had no idea as to what it was all about. It was played out on the far side of the pitch in front of very few people.
It turned out that Brewdog apparently put up the prize and in truth they got nothing in return.
We should be pushing our sponsors, giving them value for what they put into the club, not just taking them for granted as we do.
The club really as we all know is so unprofessional, it makes so angry because they SHOULD be better than that.

I think more could be done on advertising in the ground but there may be rules about alcohol advertising and really that is for the sponsor to lead on. As for the event I think they’ve done this twice and this time was run more smoothly. Although having it over the empty side of the ground may be more a practical choice rather than a sensible one. If I’m correct I think they find it more difficult than you’d imagine to get participants although the HKR guy was straight on it. Sadly nerves got the better of him and the Broncos guy had a worldly. It is what it is.

As you say BT"It is what it is" and what is is pathetic.
Looking at things sensibly. The club deserves to be so poorly ranked on the IMG gradings for things like this.

Look on the bright side, at least the replica shirts were ready by round five….correction it was most of the shirts were ready by round five. Wait… round five? I think I’ve gone down a blind alley here. As you were.

I am not a drinker, but I do not see our sponsors products for sale anywhere in the ground.
Certainly the Phoenix Pub and The Speedway bar are run by the By the horns brewery..
So I cannot see there being an issue at The Stoop.

I thought there was like a ‘pop up’ Brewdog bar at the HKR game- not a drinker myself these days ( not through choice but because it’s contraindicated with prescription medication!) but the place looked to be selling , with promotional banners, their Black Heart stout, possibly other beers too.
Like I said I’m not a drinker these days so I didn’t investigate it too thoroughly.
