Thought Whiting did quite well for his first game back all ways round, but the thing that stood out for me above all else was when the ball went up high to Calderwood, Whiting actually offered him some protection whilst he caught it.
Our so-called international centre on the other side might well take note.
Indeed. Whiting showed plenty of promise. He'll be back to then bench at best on Monday then.

Think I'm one of the few fans that rates the guy. Thought he showed enthusiasm throught today. Great try saving tackle. great kick through for the try and great catch on his own try line. Guy behind was slacking him off for his clearing the line runs but Calderwood will never be a tackle breaking winger and unfortunately at Hull we dont use a winger who has pace and needs space to run into.
