Sad to report the passing of former Dons player Dave (Crazy Horse)Walker
Dave aged 68yrs was Doncaster born & bred & played at hooker he made two appearances for the first team in 1982 & he was a regular player in the Dons A team.

Dave was a Bentley legend , a true character , always remember him stood outside his house on Bentley Road with his crazy boxer dog by his side talking to everyone that passed by.

His funeral is at Arksey cemetery on 2nd March at 2pm.

He was before I can remember but was he quite small and often wore a beanie hat?

Dave was around 5ft 2inch I can't recall ever seeing him wearing a beanie hat.

It has to be the guy I'm thinking of, I got talking to him about a year ago cos he saw my young un with a rugby ball under his arm and he said he played for the dons years ago but looking at his size I was sceptical, pretty sure he lives across from Kirby avenue on Bentley rd.

that's really sad news.played along side Dave at Bentley for a few years.never known a guy more chirpy.little hard nut.RIP Dave
