Just been out to put the car away and can see a bright searchlight swinging it's way back and forth across the skyline down here at Durkar and it looks as though it's coming from the rough direction of Belle Vue ??.
Anyone got any ideas ??

Can see it up here in Netherton but it's difficult to see the source.

Radio Sheffield announced today that there would be a laser in the sky originating in Barnsley, but it stated that it would be directed along the Dearne Valley towards Doncaster and Rotherham; some artistic stunt or something. I came home from Oakwell tonight and it seemed to sweep across from Wakefield towards the Crigglestone area.

It could well be that they were looking for Barnsley's missing strikers
