Had to be Tupou or Lynne for MotM but hats off to Horo for his efforts, topped off with the try of the game.

Was really worth waiting till the 77th minute for Finn to finally find touch.

Thought Wilkin was up there as Trinity's man of the match. Two head shots which led to 12 points and a knock on when Saints were in the ascendancy.

Horo I thought had his best game and looks to be a natural leader.

Yeah! Well done Reece. Your best game in a Wakefield Trinity shirt for me. Honours too for Tupou and Horo. A couple of brain farts, particularly the kick on the fourth tackle just before half-time that led to their try. I somehow knew that the hooter would not go until Saints scored, which they did after almost a fifty minute half and lo and behold it did right after the try. Well done to Wilkin for gifting us a big slice of our points- what an idiot

WAKEFIELD TRINITY - The PRIDE of Sporting Wakefield

THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS

Re: Reece Lyne : Sun Apr 15, 2018 7:59 pm
Great games from Horo and Tupou but I agree Lyne was my Man of the Match, although I thought the matchwinner for us was Randell's sinbin tackle on the Saints player, saved a certain try and probably denied Saints the win.

Agree Horo played a blinder too. When I watch the likes of Wilkin up to his antics on the pitch it always reminds me of how refreshing it is to see the conduct of Trin players. No egos whatsoever, no playing for the penalty and very rarely any arguments about decisions on the field.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"

If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

Great performances all round and for me Horo was my man of the match, he has certainly improved immensely over the last month.

Lyne had a cracker but I felt for him. I noticed a few times when he was receiving passes that the passes weren't placed just right, as a result Lyne had to adjust his run or body position to collect the ball. A shame really since if the pass had of been perfect he could have been even more impressive than his fabulous stint yesterday.

We just held on for victory. Hopefully that will build confidence and we can develop better game management over the season.

What would a Cockney know about rugby league?

Re: Reece Lyne : Mon Apr 16, 2018 7:35 am
Lyne, Topou and Horo all outstanding. Hirst & Huby ledd brilliantly from the front. Arundel also deserves a mention in dispatches. The whole bloody lot of them can take a bow!

I thought that was a nice bit of professionalism without it being too dangerous and it certainly saved the game. I did sense we looked ready to give away the penalty for Saints last set although needing the full 6 they were happy to just get on with the next play.
