There is a reason why Saints are getting rid. And before anyone tells me how far ahead of us Saints were. 1. How are we supposed to catch them up if we are signing their cast offs? And 2. Despite being runaway LLS winners Saints pack wasn't all that impressive anyway, Thompson had an exceptional season and carried that front row. So if Amor is seen as the most expendable member of what is, barring a couple of players, a fairly mediocre pack, what does that say about him?

What is this reason St's are getting rid?

Was Cooke our cast off when he left us? Or Carvell when he went to wire?


Its just a lazy way of looking at any player movement.


Isn't Amor from West Yorks area? Could it just be he'd prefer to be this side of the pennines?

No i dont get the signing of Dawson particularly on a two year deal.Maybe 1 year then part of the clearout for 2020.
We have reserve back up in the backs with Griffin if he stays,Miloudi,Logan,Scott,Sanderson and Thomo can also play in the backs.

You bagged him for his time at Leeds (which was a quite myopic opinion and not one shared by any Leeds fans I know. Thats was what negative.

Check the leeds forum thread Jordan Thompson i didnt write those comments about Thompson but pointed out that they obviously dont agree with your colleagues or Leeds fans you know.

I have no problem with Thompson coming back as a squad player

Nope, he's from Cumbria. Saints are getting rid because he's not worth his wage bill.

Fair enough, I was basing it on his time at Wakefield and he may have settled his family in that area?

Not knowing what he earns, its difficult to say if he is worth it.
