Stuart Fielden, Danny Orr, David Vaeliki, Shaun Ainscough, Karl Pryce... not to mention young kids who were touted as world beaters like Mark Flanagan (he was a coup as a youngster from Bradford, IIRC) and James Coyle, who never really kicked on.
I still maintain that under a different set of circumstances Flanagan could've been brilliant. Just think he went to Australia too soon when he was never going to get a game. Came back and drifted but missed a good few years where he should've been playing and developing.
Signed from Wales RU and big things were expected but he just never ever got going. Shame really but I think it was a little too late for him to make the move to RL. A few years earlier and he probably would have been good for us. IIRC it was a neck injury that ultimately ended his time at Wigan

Powell would have been a good signing in his mid twenties, Gareth Thomas as well, i met him when he was at the crusaders and was surprised at the size of him and he was very quick
