And his assistant, whose name escapes me. Although actually the true origins of that team probably lay with Powell and before that Dean Bell rather than TS & McD.

He did a top job with the USA team. My estimation of him has gone downhill in recent years.

Seem to recall us playing at Leeds in 2015, and were playing with a patched up squad, due to injury, and basically said we need to stop whining and get on with it.

Leeds have a few players injured, 2 years out of 3, finish in middle 8s twice, and they dont stop whinging about it.

Yup I remember that. I can’t tecall him ever being magnanimous in defeat especially on the rare occasions we managed it.
