That was the rumour I heard Sunday along with Frankie possibly out for the same length of time.

Well, if Frankie is also injuried, my question is what are we gonna do about it?
If there is anything we can do.

So we have an effective squad of 16 and two of our top performers of last season absent for a fair chunk, including most probably the crucial first 4 games of the league season. We can only have 5 D/R so that has reduced that added effectiveness to 3.
What is the rule regarding season long loan players and D/R.
Can we wangle more than 5 players in total from different clubs?
If we intend to limp on regardless (no pun intended) and do nothing, we are asking for trouble aren't we?

People have been banging on about such a skeletal squad and the dangers and blow me the doggie doos have hit the fan with a ball hardly kicked.
Solutions?

The maximum of D/R and/or loan players is 5 in total in any match day 17. From any club

With us leaving it so close to the start of the season, I’m guessing there’s not that many players still without a club.
