Absolutely nothing to be taken out of that game other than we have a few younger lads who look like they could be on the scene sooner rather than later.

Only the chance for Chester and his staff to see just who ay be ready to go on to the next level.
For U19's to play against blokes is a great test for them and is a couple of steps up for most and it will pay massive dividends over the next couple of seasons. Very similar to the game at Batley last season, both in terms of squad and result, although there were a few more senior players today.

He did thanks some good feedback from Chelsey too.
It was a poor game and our kicking in first half was poor whereas finney was pretty good for Newcastle, the second half was basically the academy team with Holley kershaw and annakin, we actually looked better and won the second half, I think the academy will do pretty well this year and hopefully see a couple of them getting a call up
