He did thanks :thumb: some good feedback from Chelsey too.
It was a poor game and our kicking in first half was poor whereas finney was pretty good for Newcastle, the second half was basically the academy team with Holley kershaw and annakin, we actually looked better and won the second half, I think the academy will do pretty well this year and hopefully see a couple of them getting a call up :thumb:

Chelsey  as your good wife changed her name

"Absolutely nothing to be taken out of that game", seriously ??

Only the chance for Chester and his staff to see just who ay be ready to go on to the next level.
For U19's to play against blokes is a great test for them and is a couple of steps up for most and it will pay massive dividends over the next couple of seasons. Very similar to the game at Batley last season, both in terms of squad and result, although there were a few more senior players today.

TBf mate I think that’s what he’s saying. Badly worded first sentence syndrome - boy I know that one :-)

I imagine like many if you’re posting from mobile sometimes it’s not as easily to comment how you’d like to. That’s what it’s like for me anyway, sometimes I just don’t elaborate as much as I should.

Still think Wrencat missed the last bit completely though

I enjoyed the game, particularly the 2nd half. I don't get to see the U19s very often and I thought some of the newly contracted lads showed there's some decent talent to come through!

No worries mate, it just looked really negative, which seemed harsh on the lads who had busted a gut for the club.

I agree, sorry for confusion.

Newcastle had some good and experienced heads out there, didn’t realise they’d signed Misi taulapapa either (although he is 36 lol).

All in all I should have problably said it means nothing with regards to the super league campaign. Wouldn’t mind seeing some of the lads in our first team squad in the not so distant future.
