Astonishing that. Hope they're ashamed.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

I stood outside the bar for 10 mins.
The abuse that was being levelled at Chrimes, Tali and Kes was a wonder to behold.
It is alright to protect black footballers who play for England ... but this shoite is allowed.
The touchjudge could hear all if it.

Made my mind up ... never ever going to Keighley again.
It is a hard place to get to never mind during a holiday period.
And we serve up that!
Let's name some names shall we?
Howden and Yere ... pants!
That side and their coach are pants.
Couldn't beat a side that are patched up and nearly folded.
Yet we maintain we are the business?
Dog's business.
We have some good individuals and that's it.

I'll start by saying I didn't go today so I cannot comment on individuals or the collective performance.

What I will say, based on results to date, is that for the Club's stated aspiration of promotion to be achieved, we are not winning enough of the key fixtures.

There are teams in our division which if not all, then the majority of the established teams will beat. It's clearly the results against 5 or 6 other teams which will ultimately decide the finishing order and we are quickly getting to the point where we can't afford many more defeats.

The defeat at home to 11-man Hunslet was particularly damaging.

We have fixtures coming up which should allow for confidence and momentum building (although London away looks a potential banana skin).

Let's hope that we are in better form when we meet the promotion candidates.

Having read your various forum posts for the last few months, as an outsider looking in you seem too reliant on the dual reg players you may or may not get on a week to week basis. You seem obsessed by what might be on offer via dual registration pickings every week instead of what you already have at home. May be it's time to break free from the Hull RLFC shackles. You may be suprised by what you can achieve by the local / home grown talent that is available.

lets face facts here guys,,, this team players and management are going nowhere,, the garbage we were told at the beginning of the season (super fantastic mega deal with Hull) did,nt fool me at all. Just look at the league table that says everything you need to know about our prospects for this year,, The team at the top,!!! has the coach we sacked and about 6 of our ex players and they beat Oldham away yesterday. I dont enjoy posting negative comments BUT can anyone see us getting promotion this year,,,I think NOT.

Not sure if this comment is a generalisation about the comments on the forum or in reference to my posts?

I generally start the match day threads so yes, there may be comments about DR. Obsessed, far from it. I hoped it would benefit us this season but the jury is out.

Rightly or wrongly, we have a DR agreement. Personally, I would prefer 4 or 5 season-long loans.

The reason why we probably focus on the DR situation so much is that we know that we need the better quality players from Hull to help us get out of this league. When we’ve had the likes of Jack Logan, Hakim Miloudi, and Jez Litten in the team, we’ve look like a team capable of promotion.

At the moment, we’re very vulnerable against the better teams in this league. Unless we do something to reduce that vulnerability, our aspirations of promotion will be a hope, not an expectation.

I believe we are trying to recruit local talent but bringing in players in this manner is more of a longer-term project, rather than a fix for now. The importance of getting out of this league cannot be stressed enough as the prospect of Ottawa and New York being around next season is likely to make life a whole lot tougher.

I hope we will bring in five quality players from Hull every week from now to the end of the season as this is the way to help improve our chances. Without them I fear we will continue to remain vulnerable to our promotion rivals.

If we don't get promoted this year, the future of the DR arrangement will then need to be seriously reviewed because it will have been a contributory part in our failure.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Our side was better last year. We had England and Mariano as well as better Hull players.

Understably we expected to carry on where we left off and kick on to promotion.

We have come a cropper with injuries and loss of Hull quality players.

Now there is nothing we can do about it much and we are no better than anyone else ... We have lost half our games, nearly lost the one in Newcastle.

Everyone else but two teams are much of a muchness.

In a short season we are looking off the pace.
