Mac out!

London statistically for years (and Catalans) have had the worst Penalties against year in year our. McDermott even complained about it when he was at Quins.

What Wardy has done is just cleaned the team up. Very few penalties last night and very few errors. Thats the only way London can succeed with the squad they have( with fitness/teamwork, guts etc)

4 wins from 5 now. Getting to the pace of SL. The lapses are getting less although it crept in again just after HT last night when HKR got 2 tries back to back

Great game last night. Enjoying watching the relegation battle far more than the top teams so far this year.

Outstanding spectacle for the neutral that - and a cracking win for London.

I don't know what Ward is feeding his forwards down there, but we could do with a few crates at WT; they're running through brick walls - and enjoying it.

Lovely stuff - very entertaining - and despite Mr Kendall's best efforts, the right result.

A HUGE win for London and the relegation cat is now well and truly amongst the pigeons.
Any side, from 4 to 12, is at risk, which also means that just about any side could take 5th spot.

You would think that selling such a competitive sport would be the easiest job in the world.

Agreed. I hope this well and truly settles the argument for keeping promotion/relegation.

I don't think the argument was ever 'its not exciting', it was more around the way clubs may be encouraged to pursue short term goals (buying older SL-ready players in order to stay up/bouncing straight back up) at the expense of long term improvement (having an academy, giving chances to younger home grown players). Personally I'd keep P+R but go to a 14 team SL, possibly introduce an MPG between the Championship champions and the bottom SL side so we know the team coming up is better than the one going down.

If London can go to Cas next week and win by around 250 points they'll probably go 6th. They should definitely aim to do that. No easing off.

You mean that we have lots of clubs who are clearly quite strong on the pitch so we’ll massively destabilise one of them by relegating them and only partially destabilise another 4 or 5 by just the threat of relegation?

This very much shows why relegating any club would be daft.

So what are the clubs excuses for having consistently poor crowds?
