I almost turned the game off after that hattrick of errors from the ref. In my opinion though, the London player was slightly offside for one of their tries. You're right about Ben Crooks, he looked woeful last night.

Obviously i’m biased, but...

Drinkwater did obstruct the chaser, but ‘blatant’ is a stretch imo. He barely moved from his position. The strip, I felt was after the tackle was complete. Hauraki, i’m not sure I saw a good angle, and it was a bit strange that they didn’t review it. Maybe because the kicker was so close to the line.

Overall, the better team won anyway.

I'm biased but I can still say I thought London's try was offside. All 3 of Sky's team called it a blatant obstruction, so I can only assume your bias has possibly clouded your opinion - as I thought it was pretty cut and dried. Agreed that the best team won but I thought Rovers looked like they had the better individual players. I still think London are nailed on for the drop.

Not that it matters much, but I feel like the Sky commentators and pundits don’t feel that we’re offering much to the SL storyline. I’d struggle to argue otherwise, as we’ve been poor in a tepid kind of way for quite a while. So we tend to be cast in the role of opponent, and the commentary represents the perspective of whoever we’re playing against because that is the more engaging narrative.

So, while I am biased, 1. So to some degree are the Sky team, in wanting the more interesting story and 2. They quite often chat cack to that end. At least it isn’t as extreme as their coverage of the EPL, where 2 thirds of the league are treated more or less like the Washington Generals.

And the Geek shall inherit the Earth!

Well at least Leeds, Hudds and Wakey lost tonight so apart from London creeping up slightly, no change.

Still all to play for....
