As I’ve said on the Facebook announcement, stuff Sky, play a load of kids because judging by Saints’ example that’s perfectly acceptable. Am I alone in remembering when teams were fined for not fielding a full strength team?
Why bust our backsides when we couldn’t beat them at (almost) full strength, and could well have to play them at least twice again anyway? I still think half the reason for this current slump is we’ve been emotionally and physically shattered after that last Saints game.
Yes, I got grief for not saying we should play for the precious two points and second place, but win our other games and we should be OK. Sky just want to show them picking up the LLS, so play kids, take the sting out of the fixture and stick two fingers to Saints and Sky and don’t give them the satisfaction of another humiliation.
