Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Bet Woolf is kicking himself, takes the Saints job and then the Knights gig becomes available!

If Price is up against Shaun Wane then based on success and honours, Wane would walk it. Shame he doesn't have an aussie accent.

Presumably you recognise that a team has to be able to understand what the coach is saying. Although I guess he could take Lockers with him to interpret.

The Saints job is more prestigious than Newcastle Knights surely.

I know its preferable to go for the Knights if you want specifically to coach in the NRL but Saints are a "bigger club" for me.

I don't think the Aussies would see any SL club being a better job than any NRL team.

I work on the assumption that most Aussie coaches come here as a way to get a head coach job in the NRL. I may be wrong.

I presume Mr Holbrook would disagree as the team he has gone to are no better than the Knights.

I remember Newcastle well, stayed in the Station Hotel back in the day.
it’s a quirky little town based on coal mining, with a constant stream of coal barges entering and exiting the harbour 24/7.

I wouldn’t imagine Simon Moran would be wanting to lose SP any time soon.
He must surely be the most successful coach of recent years in terms of revenue and prize money generated in making the last three major finals and winning the big one. :D

Most Wigan fans issue was with the style of play, and I'm certainly.not defending that. But we aren't exactly the harlem globetrotters and at least the pie eaters had silverware as a consolation.

I think the dislike of Wane comes from a place of envy and jealousy with some. Wane's teams were better to watch than Warrington for the majority of this season, unless you like watching a turgid losing streak.

I don't dislike Wane...he's a guilty pleasure...however there's no getting away from the failure as a business from Wigan since the departure of Madge.
It may not be down to Wane...however Leneghan can't sack himself.
