I would have given it to Jack Hughes simply for getting out, and staying out there in the first place. Great effort.

Anyway word is there is a photograph somewhere of Jack dangling his knackers in the champagne filled Challenge Cup, to sooth and cool them off, before it went round the dressing room for big swigs :D

Odd though with these votes as they don't reflect much, as they only ask for votes for 1 player.

Would you have voted for Cooper? Clearly not. Neither would I. He wasn't MOM.

Was he brilliant? Absolutely.

Spot on.

My 1-2-3 were Clark, Philbin and Ratchford. But even that is tough because it took a great performance from 1-17 to get that job done. I still haven't watched the game back fully without a one-year-old crawling over me, but off the top of my head I can think of last-ditch try-saving tackles by King, Murdoch-Masila, Goodwin, and Clark.

BMM and Lineham, players who have rightly attracted stick on here, worked their knackers off. Hughes and Goodwin kept finding an extra yard to move us forward. Patton kept finding the grass with back-foot kicks. It was a monumental effort.

i wouldn't have voted for cooper, as MOM was clear for all to see...... but thought on a searing hot day, against the 'best pack in the league'... he was the standout forward (excluding hookers).

That's my view too...so I cannot understand Mo saying he should have had votes. Either you vote the best player or you don't.

It's all about opinions. Bryson Goodwin received a vote so somebody clearly thought he was the best player on the field. I just thought with so many people having a vote, one of them might have chosen cooper.

i think his point was that there WERE votes for BMM and philbin... But none for cooper... so while we all know Clark was MOM, there are some people with a casting vote, that must have been looking to give it to a forward... strange that cooper wasn't the one they opted for.

Everyone who voted Clark voted a forward and clearly the best.
