Another disastrous performance from your pack tonight but your recent form hasn't been good enough realistically to win at two of Salford, Wigan or Saints in the play offs, never mind get up again for the final. But you've won a major trophy this season, more than at least one of Saints and Wigan.

Plenty to look forward to with Widdop next season. Still feel you're a forward short, could have had Thurston at 7 tonight and still wouldn't have had the field position to make it count.

Sad end for Benny Westwood. Met him recently and seems a top guy. One of very few genuine characters left in the game, a true warrior I've loved to hate over his career.

Feel this post is pretty sincere, so I'll reply.

No 'chin up' for me. Behind the bluster and banter, I desperately want the GF win more than anything else. The CC win was an utterly brilliant day, but it still want the big one. I am bitterly disappointed. I cringe when we sing 'always out year' . . . it's like you're best mate getting with your ex-girlfriend and pretending that you don't care. Laughing along when inside you're dying.

Disagree with the Thurston remark, not because of the pack, but just because Cas' errors gave us plenty of field position. We are toothless with the ball.

Hard to look forward to Widdop if we don't improve the pack and have a coach that actually knows how to create tries.

We have all the financial tools to win the GF, still no closer to getting it done.

You're not far off. I think this season for you has been plagued throughout by you not being able to rest your front row. Clark, Hill and Cooper were all dragging themselves through the game. Your best forward in the games I've seen you play recently has been BMM, he's had an impact and it's because he sat out games. If you could squeeze in another prop next season I think you'd have a great chance. It doesn't have to be a world beater either, a Kyle Amor or a Robbie Mulhern would do. Just another body that means you can rest players, not only for entire games but during games to make them more effective.

The eternal joke rumbles on for another season, given your financial parity/superiority over the big teams it's one of sports great stories that you haven't done it yet. It's coming don't worry, but perhaps a change of culture within the club takes a bit longer to materialise than star names on the squad list. I've heard that hinted at more than few times this season, so you're clearly aware of it as a club. Price possibly even mentioned it tonight in his on field interview with his reference to being hungover. It takes a while to develop that mentality as a club, at Wigan it's so entrenched it goes all the way down to junior rugby, you know what you're going to get from Wigan sides no matter what age they are.

As long as Steve Price is here we won't be winning the Grand Final anytime soon.

Then force him out. In the social media age no club in any sport can hold onto a manager that has lost the supporters for long (Apart from Arsenal). Put pressure on the club, demand better as fans.

Too many of our fans are still sitting in Wilderspool praying that we don't get beat.

We have a losing culture. He's not lost the supporters.

If we're still not creative and no skill improvement with Widdop next year then it's 100% bad coaching from Price. I don't understand how we suddenly lose any form of skill level and suddenly play the most boring rugby i've seen for a long time, how can our attack just disappear unless it's being coached out of us.
