Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Which process? Your process of generalising and degrading rape victims?

No. What I’m saying is I bet there’s 1% of abortions are from rapes, but the others are just using that as an excuse to get the law passed.

I was going to post a derogatory comment about what choices were open to your mum, but thought better of it. You obviously have strong views on this, be they religious or moral and I accept your stance, but personal experiences for both my wife and other female relations show that the option of Abortion is a necessary one, for medical and economical reasons. 25% (rough figure, based on 2017 birth/abortion data available) of pregnancies are terminated in the UK per year. I have no idea how many were a "choice" or were done on medial grounds, but if you take 192,000 abortions and compare it with the 35,000 reported rapes, then your 1% stance looks a little like hype-bowl.

I understand the point of doing so to save mums life, or when the child would have a poor quality of life and a short one at that, I understand there are complexities involved but I’d hazard a guess that the majority are for vanity purposes like unwanted pregnancies.

Hardly solid foundations on which to build a case for any argument I'd say. But then, these often strongly felt emotions are based on little more than myth and belief rather than science.......if science were to take the lead, then ALL religions would be exposed as shams.

Sales is based around 3 pillars.

Fear: Fear of missing out.
Uncertainty: Making someone doubt themselves as to what will happen if they do not buy.
Doubt: The feeling that if you don't buy, have you made the right choice and what if you haven't.....
FUD.
We in sales stole this directly from Religion

If on the other hand, you are making this stance based on a moral decision and not the doctrine of a belief based "cult", then your decision is yours and yours alone. At no stage does your moral belief give you the right to dictate to others what they can and can not do.

In either case, the decision to abort is not, will never be and has never been yours and that's an actual fact and not me Hazarding a guess

I don't reckon this is the place to be discussing all this really is it? You're dealing with extremely sensitive subjects that strongly polarise opinion. Leave it alone.

Agreed, as for Mr Folau he has certainly 'lost the plot'. He thinks everybody wants to hear his opinions. Guess he's a bit bored now, with no Rugby to play.

Give it a week and everyone will be too busy being offended by something else to care or even remember about this

Fine and dandy - don't have an abortion then.
