I can see why the ref gave a sin bin for that. You can easily argue that the Hull KR player has run into the path of the Cas man. If it’s a penalty in that situation it’s pretty much got to be a yellow card as well.
I can also see why the ref gave the Richardson? try and didn’t penalise for obstruction. It looked like the Cas man in front of him was genuinely going for the ball but it went behind him. Though personally if I’d been reffing I’d probably have sent it to the VR. Think that decision is reasonable if it was a non-televised game but was surprised he didn’t use the video ref.
Thought it was good reffing not to sin bin Dagger too. Yes it was a shoulder charge but it was a controlled one and was nowhere near the head.
So 1 good decision and 2x close ones that in real time I agreed with.
