We will have to wait and see how the squad develops in the next few weeks, it is pointless just adding players for the sake of it, we need good players, there must be some around, but do they want to move to London.

Cheers but I dont need a lesson about being a sports fan. I pay my dues many times over. Part of being a sports fan is also about voicing the frustration at your club. The squad was weak last season, and is weaker now. If we do not strengthen we are in for a long hard season. Considering the total ballache it is to get to PL, it does not fill me with joy at the thought of the log slog to get there, then seeing an understrength Broncos get pushed around the park.

That's an incredibly weak squad. 28 players announced. I cant imagine we will run with a squad much bigger than that.

Did I read Meadows with No 1 on his back. Wardy mentioned when he first took the job numbers mean nothing. I hope he is continuing with this mindset.

Hey honkytonk it was yr words not mine! Pretty sure you were suggesting because you dont think the squad is not strong enough, you are not going to bother watching! Thats fair enough.

Had heard that Danny tried to sign 2 props yesterday but was told no go. Apparently Mrs Ward said they were needed to hold up her washing line.

The club have had an awful long time to sort out a squad that can challenge for SL but seemingly haven't taken that opportunity instead focussing on yet another ground move.

Right now I am torn about renewing the season tickets we have (3) considering both location and squad... Which is a shame as we have been ST holders since 2001. We will probably attend some games, but not sure will go for a full ST, as tbh I am not worried about getting a good seat with 750 supporters in a 5K stadium, so will have lots of room.

Trailfinders was different as we actually filled the seating area in the grandstand pretty much every game, I can see a PL only one or two stands open, and fans split between both teams, leading to not much atmosphere....

For the first time in a long time, I'm actually finding I'm not missing the Sundays or the RL, I'm pretty much a london / england fan, I don't care about any other team (apart maybe from Scholars), and don't bother to watch any SL games on sky... so we will see how things go before making up mind on a season ticket for 2021 (assuming we even have them)...
